About Liz Druhan

South Hill Studio was formed out of my love of interiors and a belief that depth and character are fundamental to creating homes that are both sustainable and genuinely comforting. Growing up in California, a respect for timeless design and craft was part of my family, and I learned early on that following trends is often an expensive way to decorate.

Before establishing my studio, I spent over two decades leading global client relationships in financial services. That experience shapes how I work today — with clarity, structure, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility for my clients’ time, trust, and investment.

I studied design in the United States and became a qualified interior designer in 2007 with the Dublin Institute of Design. Art and antiques regularly feature in my work, bringing a sense of history and individuality to the homes I design.

My work is grounded in quality and craftsmanship, and in the belief that homes should, above all else, feel nurturing. I design interiors that balance restraint with warmth and character, often incorporating bespoke or unexpected elements that bring individuality and a sense of joy.

At South Hill Studio, design is not about imposing a signature look. It is about listening carefully, making thoughtful decisions, and creating homes that feel right for the people who live in them — now and for years to come.
