A bedroom with a blue wall, a grey upholstered headboard, colorful floral and striped bed linens, and decorative pillows. Next to the bed is a wooden nightstand holding a patterned pink and cream lampshade, a clear glass vase with green leaves and purple flowers, and a book titled 'Blackberry Wine'.

Interior Design in Wexford

At South Hill Studio, we have a special place in our heart for Wexford and its beautiful landscape. While every project is unique, we are constantly influenced by the locations but our ethos remains the same: character, comfort and longevity.

Home Renovations in Wexford

During 2026, we have consulted on 6 different renovation projects across Wexford ranging from a large former farmhouse to a beach-side bungalow. Most of the renovation projects we take on in the county start the same way: a house that's structurally sound but no longer works for how the family lives — a kitchen and living space that need opening up, a layout that hasn't been touched since it was built, or a period property that needs its character brought forward rather than stripped out.

We work alongside your chosen builder and, where needed, your architect from early on, so the design decisions and the build sequence move together instead of design becoming an afterthought once the walls are already up. We also can advise in smaller packages if works have already begun or if tailored solutions are required on integrating existing and new spaces together.

How We Work With Wexford Clients

Based in Kilkenny, we're a short drive from most of the county. There are a wealth of great suppliers and trades across Wexford and nearby counties, making projects and sourcing easier than in the bigger citiess. For clients further out, or for second homes you're not always on-site for, we also run projects remotely between visits — reviewing layouts, materials and sourcing over call and email, so distance isn't a barrier to a fully resolved design.

Materials & Resources in Wexford

I work with a network of craftspeople and suppliers across the South‑East — bespoke joiners, upholsterers, stone and tile specialists, lighting, and soft furnishings — along with antique dealers and reclamation sources when character pieces are needed.
