My background in finance and project management is a strength for clients who need a considered, yet organised approach to large-scale residential projects. I work closely with clients and the wider project team to keep information clear, anticipate potential hurdles and guide decisions as the design develops.
Support can begin at planning stage and continue through layouts, architectural details, lighting, joinery, finishes, furnishings and final installation. The level of involvement is tailored to the project, with the aim of creating a home that is both thoughtfully designed and well resolved.

Reviewing internal layouts for flow of space, light and storage
Detailed lighting plans and specification prior to first fix

South Hill Studio delivered the complete interior design and installation of a four-bedroom new-build home for international clients relocating to Ireland.
Working directly with the builders, suppliers and trades, the studio coordinated finishes, lighting, window treatments, furniture, artwork and accessories, while managing orders, deliveries, and the sequence of work throughout.
With the clients based overseas, South Hill Studio acted as their main point of contact on the ground, resolving issues as they arose and ensuring the home was fully furnished, considered and ready for their arrival.

Every new build or renovation begins with a consultation to understand the project, the stage you have reached and where professional design input would be most valuable.
Following the consultation, I will recommend an appropriate level of support. Some clients require early input on layouts, lighting and joinery; others need help bringing together finishes, furnishings and the final interior direction.
The level of involvement is tailored to the project and to how much of the process you wish to manage yourself.

A well-designed home begins with understanding how it will actually be used. The questions we ask help uncover the small details that can have a significant impact on layout, storage and everyday ease. For example:
Where does clutter naturally build up?
Which space will act as the household admin hub?
Where will spare bedding and seasonal items be stored?
Where will cleaning equipment live?
Have heating systems, solar provision and EV charging been considered without compromising essential storage?
By considering the practical workings of the home from the outset, the design can feel more seamless, resolved and effortless.
