New Build Design Support

Building a new home is an opportunity to get things right from the beginning — but can be overwhelming as it also requires hundreds of decisions before you even pick flooring!

Over the past few years, I’ve helped clients navigate all stages of a new build from planning submissions, selecting architectural elements and keeping an eagle eye on the timeline and budget. New Builds are never easy but with support from the beginning, it can be a more enjoyable process.

I support all types of clients and all types of builds. Whatever stage you are at, there are services to support your project.

Design input can be provided at key stages, including:

• Finalising internal layouts

• Detailed lighting plans and specification

• Recommending windows, doors and interior architectural detailing

• Specifying joinery design, whether kitchen or bespoke cabinetry

• Reviewing storage planning and longevity of overall design and usability

The aim is clarity before first fix — when adjustments are still possible and far less costly.

New build projects are typically supported through:

• Consultation – the starting point to get to understand your goals and dreams. We talk about where you need support and see if my services can provide what you need, when you need it.

• Project Alignment - I will recommend the best fit for whatever stage of the build you are at. Some clients are reviewing layouts and haven’t broken ground, others are finalising furniture and colour direction.

The appropriate level of involvement depends on your project and how much responsibility you wish to retain.
