The Design Mistake We All Make

Leaving a career after 25 years can feel like stepping off the precipice into freefall. But as the years have gone by, I have become more confident in myself and that my design ethos has a voice. In this chaotic world where life is spinning so fast, a nurturing home is vitally important for health and happiness.

This post is about embracing those things that you truly love and not being embarrassed about it. Whatever this is- whether an out-of-fashion colour (don’t worry it will be back in soon enough!) or that funny picture you picked up on holidays that feels silly but always makes you smile. If you consistently worry about what other people think about your home, you will never truly be satisfied or at peace there. And that is the mistake we all make at one point or another, judging ourselves and our home through the lens of others.

My business is about creating beautiful homes. But the Heart of my business is showing you just how beautiful that can be - by being You.
