Interior Designer in Kilkenny
South Hill Studio is a Kilkenny-based interior design practice specialising in calm, considered homes with a timeless, traditional sensibility.
As an interior designer in Kilkenny, I work with busy homeowners who want their homes to feel settled, coherent and thoughtfully designed — not trend-led. My approach is grounded in creating a truly personal space, taking into account how you live and ensuring the space reflects you. Whether you are self-building, renovating or refreshing your home, the design plan will be unique to you.
A Considered Approach to Your Home
Good interiors are not created by shopping lists or isolated decisions. They are the result of clear judgement, sequencing and an understanding of how a home needs to work as a whole.
My work focuses on:
Creating rooms that feel calm, welcoming and enduring
Avoiding short-term trends in favour of classic design principles
Clearing decision fatigue or scrolling burn-out for home owners by giving direction that works for their space
Every project is tailored to the client and the architecture of the home — from period houses to thoughtfully designed new builds.
Services
I offer a structured, tiered service so clients can engage at the level that suits them best.
A 2-hour, in-person consultation providing recommendations, direction and professional guidance. A written summary of our meeting is provided to give you the necessary steps to take forward the design. Many clients opt to engage further support from us through the next step, a fully resolved design.
A fully resolved design service for a complete room or multiple spaces. All key decisions are finalised — furniture, lighting, finishes and overall scheme — so you can implement with confidence and clarity. As an interior designer in Kilkenny, I love being on-hand to help clients as they implement their designs.
A full design solution, implemented from start to finish for clients who are looking for support from initial concept through execution and completion. This includes sourcing, procurement and installation and price is dependant on requirements of the project.
